Use RTCC’s interactive map to find out how far countries around the world have pledged to reduce their emissions

The success of a UN climate change deal will depend on how deeply countries are willing to cut their emissions at home.
Ahead of the UN conference in Lima next week, we have mapped existing targets around the world.
Most of these are aimed at 2020 reductions; some countries have planned further ahead, with targets for 2030.
Every country in the EU is bound by a 40% greenhouse gas emissions reduction by 2030 at the very least. We have highlighted the states that have gone beyond this in their domestic legislation.
We have also focused on economy-wide mitigation targets. Many developing countries, particularly in Africa, have not yet made such goals due to their limited capacity and minimal emissions.
