To celebrate twenty years of climate change negotiations we have 10 copies of the UN’s exclusive Rio Conventions Calendar to give away.
To be in with a chance of winning a copy answer the question at the bottom of the page.
The calendar includes work from great illustrators from around the world including the UK’s Chris Arran, Spain’s Oscar Llorens, Canadian artist Sonia Ray and Silke Werzinger from Germany.
Each of the illustrations represents a different aspect of sustainable development and the green economy – from biodiversity to sustainable land management and agroforestry.
And this year, the calendar marks twenty years since the adoption of the Rio Declaration and the Agenda 21 and when the UNFCCC came into play.
Two decades on and as we ready ourselves for the RIO +20 Convention this June, the illustrators and their works in this calendar try to pose the question, where do we stand twenty years on?
Question:
To win one of the calendars all you have to do is answer this simple question….we have just had COP17 in Durban, but where is COP18 to be held next year?
Send your answers to [email protected], with Rio Conventions in the subject line.
Competition closes on Thursday 22 December.
